Image & thumb uploading problem!

Hey I've just added my 4images onto my domain, but there seems to be a problem everytime I try to upload images onto different categories, I've CHMOD the directories which are these right?

chmod 777 (drwxrwxrwx) : data
     chmod 777 (drwxrwxrwx) : data/database
     chmod 777 (drwxrwxrwx) : data/media
     chmod 777 (drwxrwxrwx) : data/thumbnails
     chmod 777 (drwxrwxrwx) : data/tmp_media
     chmod 777 (drwxrwxrwx) : data/tmp_thumbnails
     chmod 777 (drwxrwxrwx) : templates
     chmod 777 (drwxrwxrwx) : templates/default
     chmod 777 (drwxrwxrwx) : templates/default/media

     Set permissions for the following files:

     chmod 666 (-rw-rw-rw-) : all files in the directory "templates/default"
     chmod 666 (-rw-rw-rw-) : all files in the directory "templates/default/media"
But I still can't upload any images, I've chmod the directories, but this message displays anyway...

No database entry!
What does no database mean? Please I need help, I can't upload images

Ok, you did the correct CHMOD and such, but what does your FTP client say, does it show you the correct permissions settings as you set?
