What is MMS? :?
Your first three "must do" before you ask a question:
Please do not PM me asking for help unless you've been specifically asked to do so. Such PMs will be deleted without answer. (forum rule #6)

Multimedia Messaging Service. Using this you can send pictures from one mobile phone to another (both phones has to have support MMS).

the new mobile phones usually have a digital camera (i have a nokia 3650). these cameras have a low memory so you can't take many pictures. that's why it would be useful to be able to send your picture's using MMS to your own 4images lightbox.

Yes.

2.9 Can MMS messages be sent to an email id?
Yes. Initially it will be an important driver for MMS.

This implies that useful applications can be created even if initial uptake of MMS devices is not large. As an example, a consumer can take a digital photo with their phone and send it as an MMS to a friend. If the friend does not have an MMS enabled device, they can still view the message and photo on the web, next time they're online.

I also have a Nokia 3650 and would love to see a mod that allows me to upload pictures to my web site.  Perhaps upload, then "Check New Images"?  Even better, upload into a specific category have have them added and auto-thumbnailed in one step.

I don't think that approach would be very practical.  Most users won't have access to cron.

I think a better alternative might be a wap enabled, php driven, web page or to use the actual MMS protocol.  mMode equiped phones can also select an image and, with one click, upload it to an image server.  The wap or HTML pages would allow the user to actually log in and select category links instead of requiring the user to memorize category numbers.

In any case, I think development time required for this mod is too much to take on at this time and it's not of critical importance for me.  If anyone else wants to persue this, I wish them all the best.  :)
