I check all and this work fine .

The 'Auto-Thumbnailer' work ok , the members don't need to upload any thumbnails anymore get all automatic.

I try to resize the old thumbnails and try also to convert it and when I  do this , in place of the thumbnails that are show in the table the software resize the original images, so this was the problem at all as I wrote before.
I resize the images without any problem, but not the thumbnails.
===========
Second questions is about new extensions for wma and wmv, I saw before topic about but I can't find this again.
I made all new template and ad to the upload_definitions.php but still get error about unknow file format.

any idea?? maybe wrong?

Code: [Select]
$mime_type_match['wma'] = array("audio/x-ms-wma");[/code]

Hi,

1. This is a bug. The next Ždays i will release fixed files for the reported bugs.

2. Do you have added the extension to "Valid file extensions" in your settings?

The thumbnails is now working IF i manually add it using the "Add image" link now. I think there is still another bug...the batch adding. If I use the "Check new image" link.. it can find my new picture, but when I added it.. it doesn't show in my album. It says image not found. And I think maybe because of that, I can't also create thumbnails (Auto-thumbnailer).

The auto-thumbnails only work if I add and upload one by one (Add images) <-- I believe Jan fixed this one :)

I hope something can be done..as soon as possible... I can't wait to put this in action :) Hehehe!

Oh yea, another suggestion, can we put the "Log Out" in the Control Panel? How do we do it?

you _can_ install netpbm without having root access!

I really wait every day for this, my provider don't allow me to install any other Conversion tool for thumbnails as "ImageMagick" or "NetPBM", so this is my least chance to let  the gallery working correct.

Hi Cath,

you actually can installl netpbm without having root access to your server if you install the compiled binaries. Take a look here http://gallery.jacko.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=phpWiki&file=index&pagename=Gallery%20Requirements and here http://netpbm.sourceforge.net/doc/

And it supposedly produces higher quality thumbnails than GD does. http://gallery.jacko.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=GalleryFAQ&file=index&myfaq=yes&id_cat=3&categories=3+-+Gallery+Graphics+Toolkits&parent_id=0 - can anyone verify this?

cheers,
Bernd

Now I can verify this  :D
On my local test server I created all thumbnails with GD as this was installed when I started testing 4images. But now I found the time to install netpbm and configured 4images to use that and what can I say: the result is obvious. In comparison to Netpbm thumbnails GD just blows. Quality is way better! I can only enbourage everyone to use Netpbm.

cheers,
Bernd
