upload template on ftp

how to upload new 4image templates on my ftp server.

And how to edited later?

1) Unpack template on your computer (all template packages should be packed in a folder, so when you unpack it, it restores the original directory tree).
2) Upload unpacked folder with all it's content into your 4images templates/ directory.
3) Follow docs/installation.txt from 4images package to set proper permissions on your new uploaded template files and folders.
Your first three "must do" before you ask a question:

i did all the steps and i got the template on the templates list (first drop down menu) on my 4images but the (second drop down menu) is empty?

make sure you don't have something like this:
templates/somefolder/yourtemplatefolder/
