Installation, Update & Configuration / New Install - No Email

I have just done a full new install. I have not chosen SMTP for email as I have not needed it in the past with 4images install.

The site all functions except the new registriant does not receive an email nor does the admin. The screen says that an email was sent.

After sending an email from the control panel is says it sent but the receipients do not receive them. I have made no mods to this install.

I checked local spam filters and the emails are not there either.

I have had... on the same server and domain a 4images site for the past 9 months without this issue. SMTP was not needed.

What trouble shooting can I do to determine the problem?

Programming / Add Contact Page

I have read through the posts and watched the video as to creating a new Template page. I have successfully done so. I am wanting to make that additional page into a Contact page. The Contact scripting that I have requires the page to be .php.

When I create the new Template page it is .html. I have tried pasting the form contents from the Contact script into the html Template page but this obviously does not work.

Any suggestions as to how I need to make this work? Or other suggestions for creating a Contact page that has spam security and not use the one I have?

I am open to any suggestions.

Discussion & Troubleshooting / Uploading Thumbnails - Don't Sow up On Site

Since I get the "Fatal Error" when trying to use the "AutoThumbnailer" process now, I have created the 100x100 thumbnails on my local PC and uploaded them to the thumbnail folder on the Host site along side the the ones created in the Admin Control Panel.

However, they do not apear on my site where they should. Only the thumbnails that were created using the "AutoThumbnailer" show up.

Is there a batch process or excel file or automated way I can add the same comments/keywords to multiple files in the same category without going into each individual file page?

I will have over 4000 images uploaded which are broken down into 8 categories. There are comments and keywords that will be the same for every image in a specific category.

I am just not looking forward to editing every image when the information will be exactly the same.

Suggestions? Thanks!

I would like to resize the images so they fit easily on the Details page, yet allow the User to download the image init's origianl files size. Can that be done?

Mods & Plugins (Requests & Discussions) / Batch Upload including Discription, Keywords, User

I have gone through the search of the Forum and read the posts as to the process for batch uploading and mods. I have over 4000 images to upload. I have them seperated into category folders on my local PC.

I have created the same categories on the host site and understand the typical process of uploading to those folders and then to Check Images.

For each category folder the Description, Keywords and User would be the same.

Is there a mod that would allow me to upload one category (folder) at a time and also input the Description, Keywords and User without having to Edit each one after the Check Images?
