Title: when resizing a pic -> storing original image?
Post by: wulfman on May 16, 2003, 12:43:47 AM
hi,

I was wondering if there was some function/solution to keep the original pic when using the "automatic resize" function?

maybe it's only me, but I think it would be optimal to display the resized version of the image but offer the full-sized pic via the (or an alternative) download link.

implementing something like that is far beyond my knowledge of php, but maybe someone already found a solution I have missed so far and post it here.

thanks,
wolfgang

am I the only hobby-fotograph who wants to keep his pics in full resolution while still being able to watch a pic that fits on the screen while browsing through the galleries? adding the manual download-location would be possible, but a lot of work...

no one else? or have I missed a mod?
