Thanks for the info but I believe it won't work for me. I read the tread...
I am using 1.7.6 and I didn't see anyone mentioning that version.

It is available for 1.7.6?

I have 1.7.6 and I am having a problem with multiple uploads,
I made the categories via control panel
I set all the permissions right
I used ftp to upload to the right categories "media/thumbnail"
and lets say I add 100 new files to both locations
I then go to control panel in 4images I check for new images and it sees the 100 new images
I go to add at the bottom of the page and it loads a new page saying no new images added!!!!!
I tried again - check images except I only checked for 10 new images and I hit add and they were added
why is it only allowing me to add 10 new images at a time instead of the full amount?

Hello and welcome to 4images forum.

This is a strange issue.
Can you create a test admin account and send login info to me via PM?

This is such NOT common issue and I can't reproduce it myself on my local site. The problem must be specific to your server and without access to it would be near impossible find the problem.

Before anyone can fix anything, they need find what causes the problem, right? So far I see not a single clue towards finding the cause.

For these who has same problem as masslove:

This is due to some security extensions installed on the server.
For example PHP extension suhosin.
Having suhosin.post.max_vars in php.ini set to very low number, will allow PHP receive only partial HTML form data

Also, having very low number in the following settings could also affect submitted forms:
Code: [Select]
suhosin.post.max_array_depth
suhosin.post.max_array_index_length
suhosin.post.max_name_length
suhosin.post.max_totalname_length
suhosin.post.max_value_length
suhosin.post.max_vars
suhosin.request.max_array_depth
suhosin.request.max_array_index_length
suhosin.request.max_totalname_length
suhosin.request.max_value_length
suhosin.request.max_varname_length
suhosin.request.max_vars
This settings can only be changed in php.ini This means if you don't have access to it, you'll need ask host's administrator change them for you and hope they grant your request.

This is only one of many security software available, your case might be different but pretty much similar.
