Is there a way to make this display images from the current category instead of random category?

Here is the functions.php
I am pretty happy with the normal sized thumbnails so there is no panic here,  but if I am reading the mod correctly it should be possible to actually use this to make bigger thumbnails by changing the max width to something larger?  that is something I would enjoy.

Thanks again.

Thank you! That took care of it right away,  tho I suspect you knew that it would :D

I'm perfectly happy with this arrangement but if I can ask...I thought i saw that I changed some code in step 1 to allow for small thumbnails?  Did I make a mistake there?

Also just thought I would ask,  do you know of any mod that allows for the image to be changed without a refresh of the entire page?

Again,  thanks for your help with the thumbnails!

Edited to add that I started over with clean details.php and function.php files and after doing the mod to the functions.php but not the add on yet I can create and display small thumbnails.

Hello,  I could use a little help please.
I have tried to follow along as best I could but,  instead of 7 thumbnails across the top I just get little boxes and I am just not sure where I went wrong. I've attached an image that should explain what I mean.

Thanks for your help again,   but it looks like i am going to have to deal with a safemode problem first.

ok,  i see now in the settings where i can change each category one at a time,  still is there a way so that I can have all new categories blocked from upload by users?

I do not wish to allow users to upload any pictures into any category,  and I dont want to have to set it for each new category or user.  I want only me as the admin can upload pictures.  I searched through here and found a posting that told me to change a setting in mysql database    (UPDATE 4images_images SET auth_upload = 9 )  however when i found my way to that I found no such setting.  Did I just miss it? Is there some way to prevent user uploads?

Thanks to Nicky for the help in making me see what should have been pretty obvious in the first place !

Just above the categories box on the opening page in the basic 4images template, and also on the browser tab and title bar it is displaying the domain name  which is *.name,  sorry I cannot say exactly what it is displaying but that information is not for public forums,  and why i need to make it stop if i can.   I need it to stop displaying that and to display something clever like, "Mr Kaswa's Photos".

my 4images gallery displays the main domain name in itself and on the tab in the browser,  unfortunately the main domain is not the name that i would like it to display.  My code abilities are seriously lacking,  could somebody tell me where in all the files that come with 4images that part of the code is and how to change it to display what I need?

Sorry if this question was asked somewhere else and thanks!

Mr Kaswa
