BlueHost or HostGator

I want to set up a gallery site showing my wedding pictures. After searching online, I finally decide to use 4homepages for gallery building. But now, I'm confused of the hosting. My budget is around $5/mo, and I only want to start a small gallery. I have checked www.4homepages.de/hosting and the php-based hosting award at www.phpmatters.com/hosting/. It seems that BlueHost and HostGator are great. Is it true? Anyone have tried them?
