Jan, is it possible to make changes manually? becouse i have installes mods and dont want to lost them

You can use tools like ExamDiff for comparing files and check what changes have been made.

yes i have mantained the template fashion, still it doesnot work...i also uploaded the new .html files that came along in 1.7.3 in template folder

1. Will the mods of 1.7.2 work for 1.7.3 ?

2. What if I dont want RSS at all ?

Здравствуйте много Уважаемые разработчики.
Почему Вы не можете собрать лучшие из лучших модов и дополнить их к инсталяцинной версии, т.е. сделать готовую сборку?
Все ли моды, которые были написаны к предыдущим версиям галереи подходят к версии 1.7.3?
Почему я задал такой вопрос, к примеру - я заменил admin/thumbnailer.php из поста http://www.4homepages.de/forum/index.php?topic=6921.0 и получил ошибку.
И очень хотелось бы видеть в интернациональном списке РУССКИЙ раздел, под чутким руководством V@no   если он конечно не против.

Что делать с RSS? как ее использовать?

Your reply helped me to get rid of that error, but when i select my temp02 and save it... It shows me a message to check permissions to templates (chmod 666)

I have applied chmod 777 to temp02 folder .... where to apply chmod 666?

@wally: Es wurden einige Templates geändert. Da Du noch alte Templates verwendest, musst Du die neuen Code und die neuen Tags dort einfügen. Welche Dateien geändert wurden, steht in docs/Changelog.txt

Aha. Das ist ein riesiger Changelog, es hat sich massenhaft was geändert.
Ich sehe schon, dass ich jetzt traurigerweise das Blue-Template von Rusty nicht benutzen kann,
weil ich das alles nicht einstellen kann, weil ich davon zu wenig Ahnung habe, und das ist sehr zu viel.
Schade

Vielleicht kann Rusty oder ein anderer, der Ahnung hat, das Blue Template auf die neue version bringen.
Falls ja wäre toll. Ich bin leider nicht in der Lage. Ich möchte das Blue Rusty Template zwar gerne benutzen, aber....

Hmm, wenn das so ist, dann kann ich ja auch kein Update machen auf mein vorhandenes altes Grußkartenscript, denn da ist das Freetemplate.ca drauf und das ist auch älter - schade schade - Capcha, RSS, wegfallende "br" und anderes wären ja sehr wichtig. naja... ok.
Und mein vorhandenes jetziges Template vom Grußkartenscript möchte ich nicht wechseln.
Falls jemand das Freetemplate.ca und Blue-Template erneuern möchte - aber Hoffnungen mache ich mir keine *traurig*.

Полностью поддерживаю Lesika. И еще хотелось бы узнать- все моды, которые стоят в старом скрипте,
нужно будет заново переустанавливать? Тоесть столько времени потраченно зря?

Im also have problem with captcha, I don't know if is it something about that I post a comment with a logged user, because if I put a comment without enteringt the verification code it put it without problems...
