« on: December 24, 2002, 12:32:41 AM »
After i installed it, it said that below to me
_____________________________________________

Install success!

The install script is unable to write the config file "config.php" to the server. Click the button below to download a copy of the configuration file and upload this file via FTP to the 4images directory. Once this is done you should log in using the admin username and password and visit the Control Panel to check the general configuration for any required changes." />

Downlaod Configuration File

then i downlaoded it and upload back to the dir

I get the same problem, but when I tried to login via the admin page, it takes me back to the installation page.

And what is on line 25?  It would help if you could post your config.php here that way we could spot the problem.

I just tried to install the latest version with the english language pack and its corrupting the config file.

The problem I'm having is its going back to install.php no matter what I go to, admin, / everything just goes to install.php

Tried deleting install.php, which now resorts to a 404 page, tried manually creating the config file, nada, its broke, new install.

Yep that was the fix. Even the downloaded config.php file was stripped away.
