Problem with installation
« on: October 28, 2005, 01:40:11 PM »
I use 4Images now for more then 2 years on my website. I host 8000 photos on the gallery.
Yesterday I moved the site to a new server. I copied 4images gallery and backed up the
SQL. Then I moved the copied files (incl. the photos) to the new server and installed the
SQL again. The operating system is not so much different from the old server, I use
Plesk administration panel on both of them.

If I go to domain.com/gallery/ (where the 4images script is), I get this message:
Code: [Select]
Template Error: Couldn't open Template ./templates/4_no_rand/Array.html
(4_no_rand is the template I use)

I couldn't find any Array.html in these folder. So I find this strange. The
4images Control Panel does work correctly. I Auto-Thumbnailed all the 8000
photos via the panel correctly. But strangely I can't get the gallery working.

Then I thought, maybe I must install the gallery in stead of copying it.
When I try to install, first I get the install.php page where I fill in the
required fields. When I click to the button to go to the next page, I
only get a blank page and it does nothing.

Anyone knows what the problem is?
Why do I get the Array.html error and if I install, why
I'm getting a blank page?

1) make sure you uploaded .php files in TEXT mode not BIN
2) make sure permissions are set properly
3) you might need replace .php files with fresh, from 4images package...
