Ich hatte mir das so gedacht, wie das bei http://www.likevids.me/ gemacht wird. Ich weiß, die nutzen kein 4images aber viell. versteht man so besser was ich meine.
Immer wenn man die Hauptseite neu lädt, kommt etwas anderes.

Okay, ich habe mich missverständlich ausgedrückt sorry!

Also er soll nicht ein zufälliges Bild auf der Startseite anzeigen, welches der Besucher dann anklicken kann, sonder es soll automatisch anstatt die index.php direkt ein zufälliges bild kommen.
Quasi eine weiterleitung zu einer zufälligen details.php (wobei die url sich auch dementsprechend ändern sollte).

PS: Ich nutze zusätzlich das SEO MOD (http://www.4homepages.de/forum/index.php?topic=17598.0)

Hello,
is it possible to show up a random image if a user clicks on the main page (index.php / home.html) ?

For e.g. the domain is: http://www.abc.com
1. A user types the domain in his browser.
2. There is no classic index with "news_images" and "categories". He will be shown a random image.

ist es möglich, dass ein zufälliges Bild angzeigt wird, wenn jemand auf die index-seite der galerie geht (index.php / home.html)?

Beispiel: die Domain lautet: http://www.abc.com
1. Ein user geht auf die domain
2. es wird ihm nicht die klassische startseite mit neuen bildern etc. angezeigt, sondern es erscheint sofort ein zufälliges bild der gallerie

I know it sound crazy but how can I change generally the download-dir.

I need the download dir for ALL images like this:
http://www.MY-EXTERNAL-SERVER.com/downloads/{image_name}.jpg

Please don't worry! I perfectly know what I'm doing (all images are named to let this work).

But I don't want to link the thumbnail, or the image to that URL because than the script will not count how often each image was downloaded.


Can someone please help me!?

I want to shoup the IMAGE_NAME and not the KEYWORDS.

Example: I haven an image in my database named: "Holiday with my family".
And now someone searches for: "holiday" or "family" or "day" than the ajax-script should showup the complete image suggestion like in the example.

OR BETTER: It should search the "keywords" and the "image_name" fields from my database.


Is this possible? Thank you

Nice MOD but i've got a little prob:

the mod is working great so far but i want to include it in my "user_box" (user_loginform.html) and it doesn't work.
So its just shown no tags.

... and so this short download url can't work without cat_info / cat_id ...

... and there remains a question ... for what do you need such a download url ... ?

Yes I know. And it will not be a problem, beacause my e.g. link looked like this:
http://domain.com/pictures/{image_name}.jpg

I need it because i have my files on an external server. On my server are just the thumbnails and preview pics. Not the images with very high resulution.

And I know that it will work, because when I replace the default "download_button" with an normal button and a normal link to (http://domain.com/pictures/{image_name}.jpg) it works! But it doesnt count the download times. So i have no statistic for "most downloaded" on "top.php"


Do you know what I'm talking about?

Alright, try attached file.
You'll need change $cat_id = 1; to whatever category ID is on your site.
(you'll need change home.html template manually, add whatever is missing from categories.html)

I guess you could try copy file categories.php into index.php...

I have tried that but it doesn't work.
I also tried to change

$main_template = 'home';
to

$main_template = 'categories';Than I get the categories.html view but no images.

Any other idea???

I have just one category in my gallery and I want to show up my images straight on the index page.
Just like the script does in categories.html

Is there a possibility? I couln't found such a topic, i've been searching for 45min.

Hello!
I need an little modification.
Let me explain what I need:

For example:
I want to add this thumbnail "http://www.the-different-server.de/pix/a8sdza8s8zasdas.jpg" to an image on my homepage, which names "Hotel California"
With the normal 4images Script its fine. It adds an image with the name "Hotel California" and that thumbnail "http://www.the-different-server.de/pix/a8sdza8s8zasdas.jpg" BUT does not save the thumbnail "http://www.the-different-server.de/pix/a8sdza8s8zasdas.jpg" on MY server. It just always opens it from that different server.

Now I want my script to save that thumb automaticly on my server. And of course so, that the added image "Hotel California" getting together, even when they have different names "Hotel California" and the thumb "a8sdza8s8zasdas.jpg"


I'm looking forward to hear from you!
Please help me. I'm and poor schoolar, but I can pay a little (I can spend 35$)
