i backed up my db. I upload it to my new host. But i can't see my categories or pictures. What will i do ?

1. Backup you database (mySQL) and import the data to your new database. I recommend you to use phpMyAdmin for this.

2. Backup you "data"-folder and upload to your new server.

is that the file on my data\database\default\mysql_default.sql ?

can someone please tell me step by step
how will i use my old users categories images in my new host?
(my old host is lycos.co.uk)
i don't know anything about mySQL

Just install phpMyAdmin. There you will find a export feature where you can create a dump of your existing data of your database. The dump can be imported to your new database (again with phpMyAdmin).
