I am collecting movie posters and lobby cards and 4images is such a great opportunity to create my private movie gallery.
I have uploaded more than 1700 images so far and a lot more to follow .. 

It is so much fun. And not only this ... with every new mod I am learning a bit more of html and php ... I have to admit I am starting to get addicted to it ...  :mrgreen:

Hi, this is an interesting mod. What i am not quite sure about is ... how can I add an image as category image but don't want it to show up as regular image in the categories?

If I understand it right the category image has to be an image in the specific category.

And I have the same question as karimun .. if I define an image as category image not the image itself appears as category image but its thumbnail and I would have to adjust the thumbnail size to the category image size. Is this the right way to go or have I overlooked something?

Great mod, thanks ... FINALLY it works with me too  :mrgreen:

My problem was finding the "full path" to the font. The penny dropped when I got an error message when I tried to open one of the test php-files suggested here. I got the message couldn't open  /homepages/46/d13438658/htdocs/test3.php on line 3

So I tried this path and it worked  :D.
Before this I just put the link to the font www.domain.de/4images/arial.tff in the settings and had no luck.

Just thought I would post this just in case some other more inexperienced like me are trying this mod and do not see the annotation mark although anything else works fine. The problem most likely lies with the full path. Though I don't know where to find the full path unless you get an error message ...  :?

danke! Ich habe eben noch etwas anderes versucht und scheint tatsächlich zu klappen! Ich habe statt des Leerzeichens den html-Code für geschütztes Leerzeichen verwendet " " und aus Agatha, Christie wurde tatsächlich "Agatha Christie" als ein Begriff ... ich kanns noch gar nicht glauben  :mrgreen:

Jedenfalls ist die 4images Galerie einfach wunderbar. Ich glaube ich habe noch nie so viel durch learning by doing gelernt wie mit dieser Galerie. Und die Foren hier sind auch eine wahre Fundgrube ... danke nochmal!

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. Problem is that this thread suggests a replacement exactly in this part of the code which has been replaced by an inc-file in the variable number of new images mod.

Great MOD! But how can I avoid that the images dissappear when they are not considered 'new' anymore?
Unless I upload other new images there won't be any image on the homepage after expiration of the 'new'-period.

Same problem here. Even if the settings say the slideshow button should be visible for unregistered users too ... no button shows up unless the user logs in. Otherwise great tool!
