Help Needed Please

Hi,
I need help installing 4images onto my site.  I will then need a few hacks done.  We are a non profit org and would like to know how much someone would charge us.  thanks in advance and peace!

could you please give some more detailed info on what it is you need help with. Also read the documents that come with 4images, they will give you lots of info about how to install the script.

Thanks Vraxor for your reply!  Ok here is the detailed info.  I would like someone ti install 4image onto my website.  I'm preety happy the way the default looks but would like to have a few hacks done for me.  I would like the balckground black and the font under the images white.  I would also like the page to strech so that whatever size resolution the vistor is using the page will takee up the entire page.  I have a copy of 4images on my test site as the hosting company has a auto installer.  The host for my main site does not have an auto installer.  BTW I did download 4images and went into docs for the installation insts.  However when I opened it in notepad it was in German and english whick I don't speck.  Sad I was just in Germany playing music last month and could have got help.  Oh one question when you upload to the server do you upload in ASCII or Binary?

Ok..I got it up and running.  Thanks again.  It took about 2 hours as i'm slow and a newbe..lol
anyway, How do I change the logo to my own logo on the header and also how do ichange the color of the background and the fonts?

Hi Bush,

It's good to see you want to change the look of the script as that would be a great start in learning. In fact I think you should do it yourself and I can of course give you some help, but I won't be able to reply very often.

In order to change the colors of you site, just edit the style.css file in the default template folder. In that style.css file all colors are defined, just play around with different colors and you will get a basic understanding of what each color does.

To change your logo, just replace the header_logo.gif file in the images folder in the default template folder by your own logo.

Make sure you back-up every file you edit, this way you won't loose the old default settings.
