Amplify search function

Hi at all,

i search in this forum but i didn't find anything to my question.

Is it possible to amplify the search function, so that i can search any text on my homepage and not only by pictures. I thing that would be great, because I build my hole page in style of the template and so visitors could search any information.

if you site is being listed on google, you could:
1) place a link to google search result
2) download their API and use their search result as your own.
