Hi, I have a site which uses at the moment the basic 4images template.

i would like to design the site, would supply you with a illustrator file or a psd.

that would be all at the moment, however, down the track a may have a few modifications when i see how things are working and i decide to change this or that.

but at the moment i just need a template set up to my design (which i don't have yet)

please advice me on cost, time frame, and any other information i have to give for this project.

regards, dimitri

Thanks Nicky,

that worked a treat. I just have to upload now all the images. And uploading 100gig to your host is taking quite some time...

thanks again, dimitri

hi, i have this problem for some time now. on my site, when i manually upload images with the keywords, i can search for them.

when i upload the database through MyAdmin, provided by my host hostmonster.com, i can't search for the images. they are there, i can see them in random images or when i show all i have.

i noticed, in the 4images administration panel, that there is table created with all keywords used. these keywords are then again linked to all the images who use those keywords.

so how can i update this table quickly, at the moment i want to upload a database with approx. 8.000 images, so doing it manually with the 4images uploader is not an option. is there maybe a bulk uploader provided from 4images which i haven't seen yet?

thanks, dimitri

thanks nicky

the site is www.rachelanddimitri.com/octavum (could the problem be that the site is in a subfolder)

the images are in /data/media/1

the thumbnails are in /data/thumbnails/1

when i uploaded images manually, this is where they where, so i put the other images there as well. the subfolder exampleCAID is not there.

and i import the csv file as it seems the easiest solution for me. i can leave my database in access or even better in excel, exort as csv and the impor works. all data is there. but i am happy to consider another way if that would solve my troubles.

thanks, dimitri

I import with PHPmyAdmin my database via a .csv file.

However, somehow, the 4images gallery does not recognise the data, keywords and link to thumbnails and larger images. It displays all the data, but with a placeholder instead of real image.
so the data is there, but searchable.

When I upload images with 4images, one by one, i can search for them, find them and display them.

back in PHPmyAdmin, i browse the MySQL database and all the entries look exactly the same.

does anyone recognise the problem? any suggestions?

Thanks, dimitri
