Do you mean convert 4images to work as flash like that template?

Nun ist der 01. März vorbei die neue Version PHP 5.2.0 läuft und auch das Vorschaubild funktioniert. Vielleicht gingen nicht alle Funktionen während des Testbetriebes. Naja auch Wurst, MOD funktioniert auch mit PHP 5.2.0

PHP version 4.4.4

MySQL version 4.1.21-standard

I have sites on 2 different servers. Both running:
PHP version 4.4.4
MySQL version 4.1.21-standard

I have not had an problems like you explain you are having.
So I have to agree with manurom that the problem lies with the host end of it and not the 4images script.

I do know once in a while when installing using cPanel files are not chmod correctly. Make sure are files are chmod correct. Not sure if that will make a difference or not. Hopefully it helps.

absolutely love it but, I can't read german. Usually when I find what I think may be the answer, it is in german. 

Open another window and use : http://translate.google.com/translate_t
Select the German to English in the drop down and it will help clarify the postings better

Can you give more description on what the layout looks like that you want implemented?
Maybe by providing a link. You can PM me the link if you want.

I can't speak for manurom (might agree tho) if it is something easy to do then can probably be no need to pay.

Also depending on the layout I think manurom is better fitted to design a custom template then I am. The few he has posted in previous post are nice templates and I have not done any to that extent yet.
In otherwards he is much better at it then I am

I have larened that to first search for what you are trying to look for then make your post. You get better support that way.

The reason for this is if you ask a question or questions that have already been posted a few times not many want to respond since the answer is already out there.
People do respond to questions if they know the answer and have not been asked a handful of times already, if they don't know the answer then they just don't respond at all.

My first suggestion is to install 4images, play with it and get use to it before you decide. While doing this other questions may arise and you can search or ask for help all while learning how it works.
Otherwise before you start that ask in the Mods & Plugins (Requests & Discussions) board about a "view images limit for users not guests".
There may be a few people out there that know how to do that, but if they are willing to do it for free or as a payed mod you would have to ask them.
I know Trez has quite a few paid mods that he has, not sure if that is one of them or if it is something he is willing to do.

The user does not want to upload another photo, only replace the one they have on file with a new one.

I don't understand the problem because to change the photo they would have to upload a new one anyway.   
It can not just appear with out  uploading it. 

So have them upload a new one and just copy and paste the keywords, description, etc. into the new one when on the upload form.

I assume since it has said

You are either no administrator or not logged in.

you are trying to log in as the admin in the ACP.

I have tried a few things.

have done these?

-double check your spelling
-make sure caps lock is off
-if anything was in caps that you were not entering correctly

If the above does not help create a new user in your gallery:
go to PHPmyadmin
go to the table 4images_users (in browse mode) and find your nick that you just created
user_id should be 1 and user_level should be 2
Edit that user_level. Change the user_level to 9 and save.

All done and you you should able to log into your ACP with that new username.
