Just installed latest version but pictures do not show of default template

I just installed latest version of 4images i did not get any errors all went fine.
But i got an problem and that is the pictures do not show of the default template.
Can any one tell me what the problem here is?
I have set all the permissions that were in the guide with chmod.

Hello and welcome to 4images forum.

Can you confirm that images can be opened directly, for example
http://example.com/4images/templates/default/images/header_logo.gif

Yeah no problem that works with al  the images.

Removed the program and gonna look for something else this is taking me too long.
