That's perfect but now how my latest share worked.
See this image:

UPDATE - Tested again - it worked as expected. Thanks for this Mod!

You need to check how you are handling hotlinking on your site.

That did it. Thumbnails now show. I changed hotlink protection to "allow" direct requests.

Next issue - How to I get it to pull up the Image Title and Description when sharing?
Right now it just says the name of the site when I share.

Thanks for this!

Thanks for this.
On my page however - it doesn't *look* like the typical Facebook "share" graphic.
See here for a sample:
http://alrioart.com/details.php?image_id=4440

Also - when sharing it doesn't pick up the thumbnail image. I'd really love to share the main image itself. Any way?

Update - it doesn't include the image EVERY TIME. I posted twice earlier tonight with image and once *just now* that showed the thumbnail image.
Fingers crossed!

What happens when you load my site? http://www.budduke.com

Nothing - it appears normal.

I found my site was doing it after I upgraded to IE9 and found out it was Java and Flash that was causing my problem and not any mods I had installed.
After I put the latest Java and the Latest flash, then my site loaded just fine, or when testing I removed any Java/flash stuff from my site and it also worked.

I never use IE. Just Firefox Mac and Safari Mac.
Thanks for the help though.

I had to uninstall this mod today.
So many times since I've installed it I've tried to go to a random page on my site and the browser kept loading and reloading over and over and over - and I know it was the Facebook login trying to work. But that's not a good user experience so I took it out.

This didn't work for me. It left "stray code" dangling somehow by the Like button.
If you want to see it in action, email me and I'll upload the details.html file with the like button code in it to let you see what it does to my set up.

Bug Fixes & Patches / Re: [1.7.9] Fix for search

the quotes only searches Keywords?
Oh - sorry

You're right - I don't use them. I was hoping that "green lantern" would return the same as Green AND Lantern.
Is there a mod for that?
:)

I downloaded the files above and replaced them on my server.
It seems "two word" searches in quotes do not work for me. AND searches do work.

For example - if I search for Green Lantern, I get everything with green plus everything with lantern. - the correct search results.
If I search Green AND Lantern I get only items with both works - the correct search results.

But if I search "Green Lantern" I get no results at all.

Perfect! Thanks so much!

New Problem - the "numbers" beside Share and Like seem to be skewed.
I've got the *exact same* number count on Likes and Shares for an image.

For example - 54 of each on this image:
http://alrioart.com/details.php?image_id=4268

4 of each on this image:
http://alrioart.com/details.php?image_id=2573

Anyone else have this same problem?

Thanks - I did that and that user doesn't show up.
However I have hundreds of comments from people who are now showing as "registered".
Is there a Sql command that will change ALL of my existing users except alrioart to "blank" instead of registered?

I think you will find your error in how the fb_userid was created in your database. the registered should be related to fl_facebook field instead.

But it is - see?

Ack! That is terrible news!
Thanks for writing during this crisis.

My Issue now seems to be with the "add modification to this script.
This now shows a broken link under the names of users *not* registered through Facebook.
See here for an example of a broken image in the comments section (Scroll down):
http://alrioart.com/details.php?image_id=4221

Here is an example of it actually working.

I installed this successfully (I think) I'm getting an error.
http://alrioart.com/

When some clicks "log in to facebook" the pop up window says "An Error Occured"
An error occurred. Please try again later.

Could it by my fbmain file?

It starts out like this...
Code: [Select]
$fbappid = "<<numbers>>";
$fbapi = "<<more_numbers>>"; //facebook api
$fbsecret = "<<numbers_and_letters>>"; //facebook secret
$fbdomain = "<<alrioart.com>>"; //facebook domain

Is that correct or should I take out the << and >>?

I just tried it without the << and >> and it made no difference. I still get that error. :(

I click on Log In With Facebook and view the link and see the AP Id and FP api  is not showing. Instead it shows fbappid and fbapi.
I tried changing fbmain files to the earlier version reported here on these threads and it did not change this.
Users still can't log in.
Can anyone help? Maybe I have it set up wrong at Facebook? They have a different interface now than the screen shots that accompany this tutorial.

2:53am EST.
I've been looking at these files and making sure I have the right thing done. I just don't get it. Everything is done right it should be working.

Discussion & Troubleshooting / Re: Search All Categories Doesn't Work.
« on: December 16, 2010, 01:14:37 AM »
Try rebuild search index plugin and make sure you've applied every single bug fix for your 4images version.

I already tried the rebuild plugin and it did not work. I ran it again after making new bug fixes. I *think* I have them all V@no

NEW - I'm suspecting permissions issues. I'm having some trouble setting permissions for an unrelated file. I have emailed the Hosting Provider about this.

NEW - Nothing has changed on the IHP's end. They are kind enough now to be helping me troubleshoot the issue.

NEW FOR TODAY - The IHP tech guy is nice enough to be looking at this for me. Does anyone else want to chime in on what may be happening and how to fix it?

NEW FOR TODAY - Upgrading to 1.7.9 fixed it. Not sure what was happening but it's good now. Should have upgraded to begin with. Huge thanks to the support at GNAX data center.
