Title: Best Conversion tool ? GD imagemagic or Netpbm?

What is the best so far Conversion tool for thumbnails.
 i am facing problem with creating thumbnails and image resizing of images with size larger than 1 mb and dimension greater than 2000x. it gives me errors,
currently i am using  "GD bibliothek"

depence on how your server is configured..

if there is no enough memory for php.. than maybe you can't use large pic files..

if you can use netpbm.. try it whit this one..

or try with this precompiled netpbm... > http://www.nicky.net/4images/netpbm.zip
upload it where you want on your server. chmod files with 755

in 4images ACP set netpbm and set PATH to folder where you uploaded netpbm files
example
/home/yourusername/netpbm
