Hi,

Thanks for your help, it worked. It just needs one more thing. When a user completes and sends registration form it doesn't show a "registration succesfull" message. I think I need to add a lang code here. How can I do that? Thanks a lot for your helps again.

Hi,

How can I disable sending mails to every new user? Sending mails is consuming my server's memory very much and sometimes I'm getting errors. I need to disable the function of sending mails to every new user. Please help.

Requests for paid modifications / Jobbörse / Comment Approval Mod

Hi,

I need a comment approval mod for my gallery. I mean when a user writes a comment it shouldn't appear at my web-site at the same time. Comments must appear in a section in my Admin Panel, and I'll check the comment then I'll approve it to appear on the site. I want this cause sometimes some users are writing not nice comments so I want to take control of them.

As you know when a user uploads a picture to the gallery admins can see them in a different section and they can delete or approve that picture. Simply I want a mod like this for comments.

If you are able to create a mod like this then you can contact me via pm or e-mail (cagri87 [at] gmail.com). My Budget is $80. Please include the price that you can do this mod in your message.  If it is a reasonable price than we can negotiate and start working. Payments via PayPal. If you can do that mod for me I can work with you for other mods in the future for my site.

Regards,
Talvehtia

Discussion & Troubleshooting / Weird Download Problem
« on: October 05, 2007, 10:47:02 AM »
Hi,

I moved my site to a new server and now I am getting a weird error.

When somebody downloads a picture with "Download" button, file is not working. I mean when you click the file that you downloaded to your computer, nothing appears. But when somebody downloads a picture with "ZIP" button and extracts the file from zip, that file is working without any problems.

What can be the problem? Please help.

Installation, Update & Configuration / Re: Login Problem?

Ok I think I found the reason of that Admin Control Panel error. I have another gallery and when I save the admin.php file on Lang folder with charset UTF-8, control panel doesn't working. As my site contains special chars for our language I had to save my files as UTF-8 before uploading. I need to know which files are related with admin control panel so I'll upload the normal versions of them and look if it is working or not. I uploaded a normal version of Admin folder and admin.php language file. But still not opening. Is there any more files which are related with admin control panel section? I mean any template files, php files etc. I think this is a charset coding problem so if you have any solutions or suggestions please share with me.

Have a nice day

Installation, Update & Configuration / Re: Login Problem?

Hi again,

I changed my server's operating system (Fedora Core 6) which is an operating system uses PHP 5.1.6, uploaded all my files, sql backups and chmodded the necessary files but I have another problem. My login problem seems to be solved but now I can't access to my Admin Control Panel. I searched the forum for a solution, saw some threads about it but there wasn't any solutions for them so I am asking it from here.

When I click the Control Panel link on my footer a blank page appears and nothing happens.

Here are the detailed informations;

PHP Version 5.1.6
MySQL 5.0.27
4Images 1.7.3 (As my gallery has modifications I can't upgrade it to 1.7.4. I need instructions of how to upgrade a gallery with modifications and I couldn't see it anywhere. There are only the updated files and if I upload them, my gallery will create more problems and my mods will not work.)

Control Panel was fine in my previous server. What can be the problem?

Please help.

Regards,

It was working on my old server (Shared Hosting - Dreamhost) but now it is not working on my new VPS (Godaddy). I think it must be something about server. I'll ask for an upgrade of php. I don't think bug fixes will help but I'll try them too. Thanks.

EDIT: I checked again and my old server was using Php 5.2.3. I think I should talk with my new hosting to upgrade it to 5.2.3

Hi everyone,

I moved my site to a new server. I saw lots of problems like charset etc and solved them but there is another one.

When I try to login, a blank page appears and nothing happens. What can be the problem? Sessions? What can I do?

Please help.

Hi everyone,

I am having some troubles with my comment panel in these days. I and my users were able to write comments with special characters (national ones) before. But now when I write a special character in my comment I am getting a message like that:

"Please write a comment"

I didn't remember what I changed because it had been long when I last edited my gallery. What can be the problem? From database? It seems there is no change in comment database's charset.

Also I have the necessary charset in my Lang file.

If you solve this problem I'll pay $20 via PayPal. I am a verified user and I have 40+ reputation points in PayPal. If you can solve this issue I can send the necessary files to you.

I need urgent help.

Regards,
Talvehtia
