Post by: 1Newbie on December 19, 2006, 01:45:09 AM
Hi,.. When ever i try to upload a video from my computers hardrive, The gallery acts as if it's uploading the file then IExplorer goes to a Page cannot be displayed screen and the video doesnt upload.

It works if the Video is already on the internet somewhere just fine but not when trying to upload it.
Anyone got any suggestions?

TIA
1Newb.

I've tried AVI, MPG, MPEG, WMV and as described above happens,  If the file is already on the web somewhere and If i enter in the direct URL to it then it gets added to the gallery but not when i try to upload one.
.
I also get this error trying to upload a very small zip file.

Error uploading image file:
testzip.zip: Invalid file type (zip, application/octet-stream)

I do believe that it is a time out problem -> AVI, MPEG etc. are large files.

Do it this way:
- upload the files through ftp to the korrect folder ...\data\media\#folder
- then log in as an admin and check for new files in this categories
- everthing will be added...
