[Request] No vote or No comment = No download or No ecard

Hi,

I wish to stimulate the participation of the members of my site, because at the moment, they simply download images or send ecards. Those which leave an appreciation or a vote are very few. 

Is there a mod/hack to force the user to vote (or to comment) an image before authorizing him to download or to send an ecard?
basicly, buttons for download or send ecard are inactive as long as the user did not vote or did not comment on the image... 
That must not be too much complicated to set up...

Is there anybody who has already thought of it?

I would be very interested in this issue too. many people don't leave anything. how can we force the to do so??????????????????????????????????????

Even by forcing your users to comment or to vote, to gain their download privileges, what if they just post bad results ? Would that be better looking for your site ? Meaning, the results would be the same actually since, let's say, more than half of your members could give you bad total results due to obligations to votes or comments before proceeding to downloads.

The big question would now become : "What would your new (or simply those who never voted before) users think about these bad results ?".

Just my two cents.

The purpose of the system is to encourage the webmaster and the uploaders which never know what the members think about theirs images. 
if a user download a pics or send it by ecard, this user think something good or not about the pic... Why not to share his thought? 
Because approximately 75 % of the images on the site are reserved for family and for my close friends, I think that the votes and the comments will remain objective.

I finally set up this system and apparently that works, i think it does not put pressure on the users (a vote it is 3 clicks max) and I have a good return of the users.
