Thumbnailer doesnt Work

Hi @all,
i have installed 4images on my Server with Apache2 & PHP Version 4.3.4 and GD 2.0.15 compatible (bundeld in PHP).

I have a friend, he have 4images too, on my Server on another vhost. His 4images works perfect.

My 4images works fine but the Thumbnailer doesnt work.
When i click on Auto-Thumbnailer -> ... -> Thumbnails erstellen, i have the following Message:

Erstelle Thumbnail für: IM004305 (IM004305.JPG) .... 
Thats all. I have no Thumbnail for the Picture.
On my Browsers (Firefox 1.0.2 & IE 6.0) are the same symptoms.
The Auto-Image-Resizer have the same Problem.
What can i do?
In the Configuration i have GD-Libary activated.

try use lower case extensions.
and check permissions refer to docs/installation.txt

Hi V@no,
i have the extensions changed to lower case.
After that i looked at the installation.txt and checked again the permissions on directory/files.

I have deleted the Category and all Pictures.
Then ive created a new Category and insert a new Picture (low case). The Thumbnailer doesnt work.
