hey i am getting this error when i try to upload an image using the control panel

and the script says:
Error uploading image file: l_1_32.jpg
l_1_32.jpg: Copy error. Please check the directory permissions.
No database entry!
Please,i know i got something messed up,but i tried everything .. all dirs are CHMOD-ed correctly,as shown in install.php and i still can't figure it out ;[
please,this script is one of a kind and i wanna use it,so please help me ;]
