Alles installiert, jedoch Login als Admin nicht möglich!

Hi.
Ich habe alles installiert und mich dann versucht, als Administrator einzuloggen. Jedoch erscheint kurz die 'Sie werden weitergeleitet'-Meldung und dann wieder der Login-Bildschirm mit der Meldung: 'Sie sind kein Administrator oder haben sich nicht eingeloggt!'
Der Name und das Passwort sind allerdings richtig!
Woran kann das liegen? Ich habe in einem anderen Beitrag etwas von einem Reset mit myAdmin gelesen... Wie funktioniert das?

i have the same problem on my windows machine.
i installed 4images on my linux host and all worked well.
now i try to install this for testing locally on my windows 2000 machine and i keep on getting the login screen.
the database is filled oke, and loggin in on the index page works, but the is no way i can get to the control panel......

i can login in the galerie but i do not get in contolpanel from there, i get redirected to the login screen

yes, i do but following that link redirects me to the login screen

meanwhile a little mirracle took place, do not ask me how, but i am in contolpanel
i changed the path to the script and i deleted the admin password by hand from the database, one of those two did the trick, i do not which one...

i will try to do a total reinstall later this week, to see what will happen.

after reboot same problem.
i can login on the galerie, i do get the contol panel link
but that link redirects me to the login screen and i can't get past this.
on my linux installation all is oke, is this an windows 2000 issue?

Do you have cookies enabled in your browser?

it is not a browser thing, i tried it on several browsers with different securty settings.

it must be some kind of windows2000-apache-mysql setting
so i was hoping other users must have seen and solved this problem before ...

Make sure that in php.ini file set correctly path to sessions folder.
by default it set to "C:\tmp" that doesnt exist.
