hits proxy problem

The hits counter isn't working fine, the problem isn't of 4images, the problem is of my ISP that now have started to use an http proxy and the 4images doesn't detects the real user IP.

Here in my country a lot of people uses the same ISP and the hit counter doesn't count well (everybody almost has the same IP ). Is there any solution for this? I use InvisionForums too and this forum engine detects correctly the real IP of each user.

I really doubt... if the proxy is not "transparent", then neither 4images, nor InvisionForum would be able for get the real visitor ip
