We are holding scrapbook pages in our gallery. Quite often there is a left and a right page, and I would like to offer the option of uploading either one image, or two images.
If two images are uploaded, then they would need to be combined into one image so the entire image would be displayed and commented on as one.
I'll try and show you what I mean.
This person doesn't know how to stitch the pages together, so she uploads seperate pages
2 seperate pageswhereas this person can stitch them, so her double pages show up as one image.
stitchedwhat I would like to do is to do the stitching for them, so they would enter 2 file names, and then I would join the images using Image Magic and save it as one file.
Of course, sometimes there will only be one image, so that option is still required.
I have image magic installed, and I think the montage command would do what I want, but I can't work out which files to alter, and how I would save the 2 files and then create the single merged file.
Can anyone help?
