code: Display message for guests (none registered users)
« on: November 01, 2008, 03:52:28 PM »
hii,

this code to display a message for user tell him/her that not registered and click  here to register also there is a X button to close the message box

all what you need is to copy what is in attachment

and past it in your header.html

befor the </head>

also copy this image

which i also attached to your root directory

so it will be like this

example: www.143.ae/image

check there will be a message box in the left of your screen click on to close that box

in the end, this something i found so feel free to add whatever you want

and also, it could be used for for advertising <-- just an example ;)

also you can use the code for members if you want to show them a reminder note (but you have to write that note in normal way)

BIG THANKS FOR V@no and SLL

for this post

Hi,
   One small issue in attached txt file..  if and endif  is not matching ..   There are 2 {if userlogged.... }  and only one {endif userlogged..}

Could this be made a little less intrusive (no pop-up), so that it just shows a little notification text box inside the HTML for non-registered users?

Hi,
I need little bit change in this code.. The message is always scrolls if I am scrolling the page down or up.. Is it possible to keep it constant without taking any space. without taking any space means .. it will display on the top of any image and user can close it so that he can see the image ..

is it possible ??

Thanks
