template/theme switcher?
« on: June 26, 2008, 07:11:16 PM »
i like my template so i made a copy in black and i plan on other colors in the future
people wanted a darker template so i inverted the colors

i was wondering:
is it possible to set up a theme switcher?
or let users pick the .css used on the pages from a small list of maybe 2 or 3 different themes.

i've tried on other projects but it only changed for one page with javascript and then it reverted back to the original css stylesheet with the original color.
im sure php is needed somehow but im not sure how exactly.
i want to make it more customizable allowing users to pick which color they want.
it is possible?

Hi Sin Nombre,

in near future, i post a mod about this...

it is a mod, where can admin (and optional reg. users) change table colors/ text colors online for the 4images table classes.
So you can see your requested color real on the gallery.

First step is my mod for a "Advanced 3 column template", based on the default template, with options for multible columns
(3columns, 2columns, menu left, menu right, addon menu left, addon menu right....) (100% finsih)
=> http://www.4homepages.de/forum/index.php?topic=21788.0

Second step is the implemation for the table colors for admin, controll in ACP/ optional for reg. users, control in member controllcenter (95% finsih)

Third step is the implemation for the text colors for admin, controll in ACP/ optional for reg. users, control in member controllcenter  (0% finish)

I thing, first step tomorrow....
