Im running it from awardspace free hosting
im using dreamweaver as the server,
using 4images 1.7.4
PHP Version 4.4.2
windows XP
and Mac

Wel iv tried Coppermine the suport there is not too good,,

Iv tried Gallery1 &2 they never answer your Q,

Now iv got 4images, sorted
Well it worked 1st time no problems apart from a lil mistake on my behalf so im happy,
Not had to try the suport till now and i think its just a lil proplem

on my home page i have two lil warnings,Iv had a look at the item 4darkm.php in the template folder
side and its there, but on the warning the file path sayes

Warning: Unknown(4darkm.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/www/gallerycats.awardspace.co.uk/includes/template.php(101) : eval()'d code on line 99

Warning: (null)(): Failed opening '4darkm.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/php4/share/pear'in /home/www/gallerycats.awardspace.co.uk/includes/template.php(101) : eval()'d code on line 99

Not sure what to do, do i need to move it to that path or copy it to it,,
Or do i deleat it but im a bit scared if i delite it im might do harm,,
any help would be a bonus,

I think i might of got it sorted,,
Just been reading the template readme ,, to eager to get it running,,


a. upload the 4dark directory to your "templates" subdirectory
b. copy the 4darkm.php from this zip to your 4images root directory (same dir as where the index.php is)
c. go to your admin panel (settings) and set the template to "4dark"

LOL so i think it might just do that now,,

iv checked the version im using and its **TEMPLATE 4dark ver 1.04**  (Updated for v 1.7.4 May 2007)


Ther link you sent is for **TEMPLATE 4dark ver 1.02** (Updated for v 1.7.1 Jan 2005)

Now im confused,,

should i change it of leave it as it is,,

Wel im very impresed with the service im getting with 4 images big thumbs up,,

Im not sure about the activation for new user,
i was going to to have activation via email but i been intouch with the host company Awardspace and they say my SMTP is deactivated for free hosting
so  iv set NO to the SMTP server,
If this is set to no should the new account users still get an email on acitvation?
Iv done a test account  it states you will recive email with activation code but recive nothing,,
   

On the other hand i tried another way i set the new user to activate by Admin,
How do i activate a new account and does this still send and email to tell the users they have been activated,,

Not sure where to go from here
Is there anyway i can fix the email problem??
