Database error when I try to install 4images

I have been trying to install 4images on my server with fantastico and failed miserably. I have therefore done a manual installation. I get the following error message

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'fotos'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/turnspai/public_html/fotos/includes/db_mysql.php on line 39

An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later.

I know that 4images does work in my environment as I have it running on another subdomain. I do have an empty database created and the user fotos does have full permissions.

Any thoughts or help would be most welcome.

but this is mysql server related.

maybe
wrong password
or host
or user have no permissions.

OR password is not set

p.s.: i get that when i put wrong password.

Check setting in cPanel ... is possible you forgot active database name too.

Thanks very much it was the user name that it didn't like. Now sorted.
