Hallo liebe Leute

Hello and welcome to 4images forum.

Your antivirus software reported a false-positive. There is no viruses neither in .exe nor in package itself. (http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/cefaf07a1dbbf0c636935ff545552535)
The .exe file is packed with UPX compression, which in many cases can produce false-positive in some antivirus programs (avast one of the worst when it comes to UPX, btw)

Lieber einmal zuviel auf mögliche Trojaner reagieren als einmal zu wenig

Can't argue with that, however in case of Avast, its more like: "I have no idea if there is a virus, it doesn't look like there is a virus, but anyway I should warn the user...hmmm...what name should I pick for that non-virus virus?..."
In my experience with Avast I found that it misses as many threats as many false-positives it produces, but you can't really expect much from a free software nowadays :(

ich wollte den Mobilen Server auf meinem Desktop Rechner " Win XP " installieren und bekommen folgende Meldung:

1) wird ein Virus in der exe Datei gefunden

2) sagt mir Windows: Dies ist keine Win32 Anwendung

Gruss

Hallo Tom69,

ich hatte über Nod32 diese Meldung auch.
Habe daraufhin eine überprüfung mit 15 Virenscanner gemacht.
Die meisten finden dort kein Virus.

Ist auch keiner drin.

Gruß
nobby

Hello, Jean Lukas;
Vista is really a mess, sometimes several things are blocked without warning the user...
Have you got any previous message from MS Vista Firewall, or Windows Defender?

Some Skype users may have such problems, as Skype launches at startup and keeps on listening port 80.
If you use Skype, try to quit Skype, and then launch 4images Mobile Server.
Once done, start Skype. It should work in this case.

Vista users may also have problems with IIS (Windows Internet Information Server), if it is launched as a service.

Feel free to contact me by PM to try to solve your own problem.

Salutations.

this was the surviving hint in oder to get this good program running....
shut down skype and start 4images mobile server and it works!  :D
thank you!

hint to solve this skype issue forever.

open skype
then options
then connections
click away the ports 80 & 443 for alternative incoming connections.

then is no matter if skype is running or not.

cheers
Nicky

This little program has saved my hide many times and makes troubleshooting sites so much easier. Thank you for all your efforts.

I was wondering if on the next build, how hard would it be to add netpbm and imagemagic to the build?

I am currently creating a mod that is working with the GD library but would also like to make it work with the other 2 in case anyone is using them but I have tried over and over to get them to work with my installed mobile server to no success.
I have done all the searching and everyone says put them in their own folder in the root of the gallery and give it the path to that folder in the settings, I have tried all path combinations that I can think of but can not get either of them to start working.

It would be nice to have them from the start...

just a thought...
