Serious Video problems
« on: April 09, 2007, 04:43:05 AM »
Hi

Ok, I have 2 main problems. When I try and stream MPG files, Internet explorer simply crashes.

Also, when I try and download any file above 15MB it goes to the page not found screen. My memory limit is 32MB, I am unix a Linux dedicated server.

Please can anyone help, I tried alot of the suggestions on the board and none seem to work

regards

Hello Ivan

Thank you for the reply...So you are saying you have no problem with downloading the MPGs etc? I also cannot download large WMVs either, I tried some of the fixes in the forums and it doesnt work...

So is this problem machine dependant then and unfixable or do I need to change anything in my php.ini or something, if I cannot download or view media, I will have to abandon 4images altogether and I really like it

 :(

Hello Ivan

I had to change the properties in my Php.ini file. I increased the following:

post max size is 80MB, memlimit is 96MB and upload size is 350MB

it works wonderfully now, not an issue, unless I get a bigger file, but php is RAM intensive, so I will keep at these levels for a while
