Guests can't register - no verfication code

When my guests try to register on my gallery, they're not getting emails or a verifcation CAPTCHA image. I've been having to add members in my control panel. What can I do to fix this?

if you are using a custom template - that's the problem.

I am using one. Darn, and it took me hours to get just like I wanted. Am I going to have to change it?

yes, by adding missing parts to the changed templates.
Refer docs/changelog.txt for more info about what templates were changed.

Ok, I looked in the changelog text for 1.7.3 and only found this:

- Small fix for parse errors when having <?xml in templates

and this:

- Added new tag {image_url} which points to the detail page of an image and can be used in templates (ie. thumbmail_bit.html)

What do I do?

Ok, I'm sorry, but I'm still a little lost. Do I copy and paste those files into my template folder, replacing the ones already in there?

hey! i've got that error too! no verification code there! i'm using the default template! no change have been made..
i'm still waiting for so long, refresh page for many times, but it doesn't solve anything..

help me please..

upps.. almost forget! i am using 1.7.3 and its free download, not the paid version.

Or maybe, u can upload your captcha.php and the captcha folder.. thanks anyway! hope hear from you soon..

by the way, the verification code on upload session is missing too.. bad!  :cry:

thx vano, but it's not fix anything..  :cry:

how about remove the verification code, so member doesn't need to enter the verification code when uploading image and guest doesn't need to enter when they'll register.. how to make it happen?

hmmm....
in my config.php, there's nothing about captcha!
i'm adding some line form captcha.english.txt to my config.php en the setting is default..

but.. still won't work!

hmm..
simply upload your config.php en other related php script please... hopeless..  :(
i'm newbie for this..

i'm thinking to uninstall the 4images from my server and trying to look another web application that similar with this..  :cry:
