No input file specified error
« on: February 07, 2006, 03:38:52 AM »
I did a search for this and did not find an answer already, if there is one, please just kindly direct me towards it.

Everything looks like it is working correctly, but when you click on a thumbnail to bring up the imagine you get a white page with only "No input file specified." on it. Help?

Better contact your host administartor and show them this site:

Read the comments.

Today when I refreshed the page all of the thumbnails have gone to jpg icons instead of actual thumbnails, but it worked perfectly yesterday. Any thoughts?

did you check files through FTP? if they are still there, then maybe persmissions are messed up. refer to docs/installation.txt to set proper permissions.
If files are gone, then again, contact your host administrator.

I took a look and it won't actually give me access to the data folder via my FTP. It tells me permission denied (but I am the admin and I do have permission set for me on the folder) and when I am on the control panel for 4images it tells me the thumbnail directory is n/a (actually, all 3 directories in that column are). Is this a host issue or have I done something wrong? I am sorry to keep asking so many questions, but I just can't seem to get it to work properly.

I found the problem with the thumbnails, but I am still getting the no input error. I will contact my host about it as you recommended. Thanks for all the help and patience.

HELP!! "No input file specified" error...
« Reply #7 on: April 05, 2006, 06:44:33 AM »
Hi again--- I thought that it's best to continue on an existing thread than starting a new one.

http://introspect.amnos.net

I'm having problems w/ the download.php file.  Everytime I click on any one of the "download" buttons (both the regular download and zip download), I always end up getting this "No input file specified" error.  I contacted my host administrator a few days ago and informed me that there's nothing wrong with it and that I should contact 4Images instead.

Pls advise...?  I'm having some "angry customers" complaining about the download button... thanks  :(

Hello!
Yesterday I've uploaded 80 images and thumbnails to my gallery, and everything was fine. Today I've got 404 - file not found. Everything is on server.
 PHP     4.4.2
 MySQL    4.1.19-standard

I've installed 4images from Fantastico.

The prolem was: chmod 767 in al media/ and thumbnails/ subfolders.
