I posted this situation some time ago but I can no longer find the post. I have a weird feeling it was deleted for some reason.
My situation is this: I have been running two webservers - each has their own gallery using 4images. I now want to run only one gallery - any suggestions as to how to do this easily? besides creating all new folders, copy and pasting folder descriptions, and then moving the images and thumbnails into the newly created folders... I thougth about creating some sort of SQL script to change the folder #'s to be in sequence of the gallery I will merge with, then going along and changing the folder names to match - but again this seems like a lot of work.
Perhaps I could modify the 4images table and add a field for a temporary value, create the new number scheme - then make up a script that renames the folders for me?
Suggestions?
