Hi there!
My gallery has been working correctly till today. I haven't made any change neither my hosting provider. When somebody get into the website, an error message says: "An unexpected error occured. Please try again later.", but everything seems to be working ok.
When I try to log in to the ACP, an error message says:
An unexpected error occured. Please try again later.

After login to the ACP, once again everything seems to be working ok, EXCEPT the "who's online" list. It says nobody is visiting the website, but it is not true.
Somebody could help me?
Thanks in advance. Best regards from Spain!

doest show any error messages when you browse your site as admin?
-
Hi V@no!
Oddly, my website is working fine again and I haven't done anything to solve it.
Thanks anyway!
Best regards

Good to hear that, though when something breaks and fixes itself it's not a good sign, especially when cause wasn't revealed...
Any way, if it happens again, make sure you check if more details about the error shows when you browse as admin.

Hi all,
It's happening again. But on a different way:
When I visit my gallery, it says: An unexpected error occured. Please try again later.
If I try to log in, it says:
An unexpected error occured. Please try again later.
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/galeria/includes/db_mysql.php:171) in /home/galeria/includes/sessions.php on line 81
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/galeria/includes/db_mysql.php:171) in /home/galeria/includes/sessions.php on line 81
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/galeria/includes/db_mysql.php:171) in /home/galeria/includes/functions.php on line 92
Then, I refresh my browser (F5) I get into my gallery website logged in without any error message and everything seems to be working ok.
Trying to get into the ACP, it says:
An unexpected error occured. Please try again later.
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/galeria/includes/db_mysql.php:171) in /home/galeria/admin/admin_functions.php on line 146

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/galeria/includes/db_mysql.php:171) in /home/galeria/admin/admin_functions.php on line 150
Then I try lo log in, and the ACP works properly also (but the error message sometimes appears), with the exception of the "who's online" list. It says that I am only visitting the website, but it is not true.
What I can do?
Thanks in advance.

Hi V@no!!! Thanks for your help!! I did it and the result is:
Bad SQL Query: REPLACE INTO 4images_sessions
(session_id, session_user_id, session_lastaction, session_location, session_ip)
VALUES
('14fea311f86048cdc7525eeceac496ac', -1, 1234732503, 'index.php', '87.217.145.158')
The table '4images_sessions' is full
Please, could you explain me what is happening? Ok, I understand that the table 4images_sessions is full, but how is it possible? Should I erase it? Should I talk to my hsoting provider?
Thanks once again!!!

1) try lower session timeout in 4images settings
2) Did you modify includes/sessions.php ? if you did, try use unmodified version
3) if that didn't help, you can temporary fix the problem by emptying that table, doing that will logout everyone on your gallery.
4) in phpmyadmin look in "Show MySQL system variables" for "max heap table size". By default it should be 16,xxx,xxx (16mb)
5) try ask your provider increase that setting.
P.S. I just checked, 3000 entries takes only about 1mb of memory, so theoretically with default settings it would need almost 1/2 million visitors in 15 minutes to fill up that table....
However when entries deleted the freed memory will not be showed as "available", on MyISAM table types you could run "optimize table" but HEAP type doesn't support optimization, so emptying the table is the only solution I know about...:(

Hi V@ano,
You're my Hero. Thanks a lot. :)
Sometime ago, I did modify session timeout, setting it to 999  I cannot remember why I did it, but I did it.
Anyway, my "max heap table size" variable is 16,777,216 and now, I am afraid that one day I will not able to insert more images because the corresponding table becomes full, is that correct? How much images do you think is the max allowed by this size?
How could I reward you?
Best regards,

Don't worry, session table is "unique", it uses server's memory, that's why it's so limited in size. the rest of the tables are only affected by the total database size limit set for your account by your host administrator.

Thank you so much!! :)
